I like to prepare my cabbage like this:
- Wash outside cabbage leaves and remove any discolored or wilted leaves
- Cut cabbage into wedges until core is exposed

- Cut wedges into fork sized pieces
- Add cabbage to large pot or dutch oven
- Add 1 Cup of water
- Add 1/4 cup Olive Oil (Less if you are making less cabbage)
- Add 2 tbsp butter (optional, leave this out for a healthier dish)
- Add Pinch of Dill/ Caraway Seeds/ Basil (as you can see this is where you can get a little creative)
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- Set flame to medium heat and cover
- Stir to mix all of the seasonings and cabbagey deliciousness
- Let cook for 10-15 minutes or until cabbage is tender and ENJOY!
This is just one very simple and quick way to add some veggies to your meal or a quick meal in itself!
