As Promised..

Hey Blurbers!  Had a busy few weeks so I'm just dropping by to share some PICS! There are a few general ones but most are from our recent trip to Memphis. I had alot of fun, I cant wait to go back next year!

Its been ridiculously hot in the Midwest and with no air conditioning the sleeping and living arrangements have been quite interesting. But the heat did inspired us to move forward with setting up our den in the basement and  it has finally come together!

It looks pretty good and is quite comfortable. As you can see the Hubs(his feet anyway) is enjoying it with his Xbox!  We still need a few pictures on the walls and another reclining chair or two to make it super Lounge-y and comfy. AC would be nice too .. but that's a post in itself. LOL

And now VACA pics! First baby adorableness!

Sweetie Poo nephew has learned to SMILE!

And show every body his funny faces

Best thing about going on a trip besides spending time with family, learning different cultures,  sightseeing and shopping is trying all different kinds of FOOD!

BBQ Bologna Sandwich.. Sounds weird but it was pretty tasty.

Memphis Style Pulled Pork .. Hubs said it was OK

Beniget.. Like a Creole Funnel cake/Donuts.. Delicious

Deep Fried Strawberries.  I didn't know you could do that.. but i guess if you are brave you can Deep Fry anything. Tasted  like how I would imagine a strawberry cobbler would.

Memphis style nachos with BBQ pulled Pork.. I only had enough room in my stomach to try one of these but it was pretty darn tasty.
JoeJoe(Hubs younger cousin) Was Excited about these nachos.. but he couldn't finish them LOL!

Full, Hot, and Happy
Cute outfit!

 I didn't make it here this time..but I like their slogan :)
Downtown Memphis, Beale St. at night
Beautiful day  on the way back from Memphis. I took this picture with the Vintage filter on my camera phone.. Pretty impressive ehh?

The vacation didn't end when we left Memphis we'd figure we would try some place new when we got home too. So we had dinner at an Italian Steak house called Gino's

Peppercorn Sirloin w/ Fried Onions and Garlic Mashed

Chicken Vesuvius and Vesuvius Potatoes
Desert Time: Chocolate Cheesecake!

And a Chocolate Cake Martini!
